Albert Einstein once said, “If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk a sign?”
My cluttered workspace contains all the basic necessities of an artist-- my stereo, to provide tunes and talk to motivate me to produce; books, notepads, and blank paper, my computer, with its aging but still serviceable Win 98 OS, DVD's and CD's (mostly homebrew, heavy on Dylan and Weird Al), my little figurines (Homer Simpson, Princess Jasmine, and Batman), my gooseneck lamp (with pen and pencil holder), folders full of comic pages, piles of unfinished storyboards and notes, somewhere in there, a discarded Styrofoam Ramen cup, and behind the dresser, the mirror (it came loose a year or two ago; thankfully, it didn't break). Right up front you can see the pencils for the latest issue, set aside for the moment as I take a break....
