Merry Christmas! Oh, no-- my Elf on the Shelf fell down, and he can't get up! Yo, yo, yo, lemme drop a yule log--and this sick beat--on ya for a moment, 'peeps. The family's coming to get their grub on for Christmas, so this year, once again, I'm whipping up my famous homemade holiday nut blend--always a fav. I do up this lovely and delicious appetizer just a few times each year, during the fall and winter months. You see, the key ingredient to my recipe is fresh tree nuts. Yes, sir: there's a pecan tree by my apartment house, see, and I've been collecting nuts since, oh, late August, early September. I gather, crack, and shell every nut in there by hand. Oh, yeah, you can buy a package of them pre-shelled from the store, sure, but, I dunno, I find it doesn't quite have the same zing, y'know?
